How soon will my order ship?

Handmade with Care

All of our pieces are thoughtfully handcrafted, and we take pride in the quality and detail of each item. Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Please note that we do not process or ship on weekends or holidays.

​

To give you an idea of when your order will ship, below are our current order processing times:

​

  • Most orders ship in 1 to 3 days

  • Custom Orders: 1 week

Holiday Peak Seasons

During the busy holiday seasons, processing times may be extended. If you're purchasing gifts, we recommend your placing orders early to ensure timely delivery.

​

We do not offer expedited shipping or rush orders, as all orders are processed in the order they are received.

What are the shipping costs?

Free Shipping on orders of $75 or more.

Canada Standard Shipping: $5.00

​

International Standard Shipping: $15.00 

​

International delivery times may vary by location. Please be aware your country may charge and collect customs taxes/fees at the time of delivery.

We ship to Canada, USA, Australia & New Zealand, United Kingdom & International/Overseas.

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping charges may be subject to change. 

My shipping tracking has not updated. What should I do?

If you have received a shipping notification, but the tracing details have not been updated:

​

  • Please allow 48 hours (2 days) for the shipping provider's tracking system to update.

  • We may be in the process of handling your order with the shipping provider.

  • There may be a slight delay in processing time, and we are preparing your order to ship.

  • The shipping provider does not ship on Sunday's, please check tracking Monday through Friday.

  • For international shipments, please note that delivery may take 1 to 4 weeks, or longer depending on the destination.

If you have not received your package after 10 days (for domestic orders) or after the expected timeframe for international orders, please contact us so we may investigate.

​

Our Custom Orders may have additional processing times.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit cards and PayPal, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, debit and credit cards.

Will I be charged sales tax?

All provinces in Canada will be charged the applicable GST & PST Taxes.

Return Policy & Guarantee

If your item breaks during delivery - please contact us.

Due to the exorbitant cost of shipping and delivery times, International orders are sold as-is.

​

Our return policy: Customers should contact us within 15 days of delivery if an item is delivered damaged for a possible refund. Please ensure you have photos of the package and the item to send to us.

About Us: The Fraser Valley Feline Welfare Society is a non-profit that is located in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada. Our products are sold here in our online shop and at selected art shows & venues to raise donations to help animals in need. Check out our About Us page for more information.

Where are Your Products Made? All of the Fraser Valley Feline Welfare Society's products are made in our studio in British Columbia, Canada.

Product Materials

Where are your materials sourced? Our beads and other supplies are sourced from reputable suppliers who are transparent with their business practices, and declare that they offer sustainable, fair work ethics.

​

Gemstones are mined from locations around the world, our beads are primarily sourced in Canada, United States, Mexico, South America, South Africa, Australia, and China. 

​

The vast majority of our metal components are made in the USA by businesses that practice environmentally conscious work ethics and safety.

​

What types of materials are used in your products? We utilize high-quality materials in our products, including semi-precious gemstones, natural gemstones, genuine wood or seed beads, sterling silver, silver-plated metal, gold-plated metal, brass, copper and American made lead-free pewter.

​

Occasionally glass or porcelain decorative pieces are used in some items, this information is indicated in the product description.

​

Certain Agate crystals, Tibetan Dzi Beads, and Turquoise Howlite undergo dyeing or heating processes to enhance their artistic appearance. Additionally, Goldstone is a man-made stone composed of Copper and Crystal.

​

We DO NOT use fake beads or gemstones made of acrylic, plastic, silicone, resin, etc.

​

Steps are taken during the manufacture of each item to ensure that beads and other materials are not broken or damaged.

​

If you have any inquiries regarding a specific stone, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What type of cord is used in your malas? Malas are crafted with durable cord that is fray resistant or jewelry wire.

​

Wired malas and other jewelry are made with professional-grade jewellery wire, the most expensive and best in the industry, is used to string our mala beads and for other jewelry products. You may wonder how a mala is strung on this wire may feel. The drape is very soft and flexible similar to any standard necklace you may wear, it is also kink resistant and can withstand 45 lbs. of pressure.

​

Each full-sized wire mala is given just the right amount of "give" to allow the beads to be moved for counting or lightly wrapped around the wrist.

​

Stretchy mala or bracelets are made with strong cord that maintains its stretchiness for years.
